| You can join our political Party whenever you wish. We would greatly appreciate your help and participation. We need to become a certified political party in all 50 States and the principalities and territories. To do that, we need YOU to sign our online ballot petition, which will get us on the ballot in your state! Signing our petition does not mean you're registering as a member of our Party, it only means you're urging your Secretary of State to put us on the ballot. If you will kindly take a moment to sign our petition that requests each Secretary of State to place our party on your State's ballot in the upcoming election, we'll be able to participate in the primary elections and make our voices heard. We would love to have you join our Party. The American Populist Party stands for YOU - for We the People. We are a grass roots organization dedicated to government Of, By and For the People. When you join our Party, it means you can vote as a party member in your State's primary elections. In many States, primaries are open, which means registering with our Party will not preclude you from voting for another party's candidate in the primary. When you join our Party, you can volunteer with us in many ways. We can provide you with literature and campaign materials, and we can show you how to spread the word and even how to collect signatures. We've collected over 40,000 signatures in a few short weeks, we know how to do it and we need volunteers to help so we can reach the magic number of 800,000 before the 2012 primaries. When you register with us you'll also have access to our internal Party blogs and member communications, and volunteers can apply for their own e-mail accounts and other special privileges.
Right at the moment we are liaising with many of the smaller parties who didn't make it onto the ballot this time around, and we're even absorbing some of them, so we can merge into a large and powerful voice at the national level. We need your help, and we've tried to make it very easy for you to participate.
