| First, by registering on our site, you will have access to our discussion forum, our political library, and the protected content within these pages. Our political discussion forum is a place where you can discuss and debate issues that are of interest to you. It is moderated, and it is for the specific purpose of talking about the best ways to make our government work for For The People. Registering on our web site (or on any of our sites), does not mean you're registering with our party. But let's talk about that too!
You can join our political Party whenever you wish, but there's a step before that. First, we need to become a certified political party in all 50 States and the principalities and territories. To do that, we need your help! Signing our ballot petition does not mean you're registering as a member of our Party, it only means you're urging your Secretary of State to put us on the ballot. If you will kindly take a moment to sign our petition that requests your Secretary of State to place our party on your State's ballot in the upcoming election, we'll be able to participate in the primary elections and make our voices heard. We need ONE percent of registered voters in each State, to sign our petition. Please click here to do so now!
And of course, we would love to have you join our Party. The American Populist Party stands for YOU - for We the People. We are a grass roots organization dedicated to government Of, By and For the People. When you join our Party, it means you can vote as a party member in your State's primary elections. In many States, primaries are open, which means registering with our Party will not preclude you from voting for another party's candidate in the primary. We accept small financial donations from individual American voters only. We don't take corporate money, and we don't take union money or any other form of special interest money. If you're an American voter and you'd like to help us by making a small financial contribution, please visit our store and select the amount of your choice. You can use a credit card or send us a check or money order, and you should be aware that this is not a charitable contribution and it is not tax deductible. All the money we receive will go into promoting our political agenda for the People of the United States. At the moment our administrative overhead is less than 10 percent and we use that to pay our office staff and our webmasters. The rest of the money goes into fliers, media relations, internet advertising, and other forms of communication. Our highest priority right now is to spread the word and gain membership, and we would appreciate it very much if you'd like to help us by making a small financial contribution.
